Jul 31, 2001 · The Trumpet of The Swan is my favorite among novels for children and, although I recommend reading the book if you haven't, this movie rendition was well done with beautiful animation and music, and meaningful messages about acceptance, love, and integrity. I particularly enjoyed Jason Alexander and Mary Steenburgen as mother and father.
