May 17, 2015 · Carol is not an "exercise" at all, it's a deeply felt film that just didn't speak to me (almost certainly because I'm not queer). How insulting to reduce it like I did. It was a knee-jerk reaction and I feel guilty enough about it to refuse to erase the evidence - I'll leave it up as an act of contrition.
