Khadijah Farrakhan (born Betsy Ross), is the wife of Louis Farrakhan, the Supreme Leader of the Nation of Islam. She is known as the "First Lady of the Nation of Islam". Biography. Khadijah Farrakhan converted to Islam with her husband Louis Farrakhan (then Louis Eugene Walcott) in 1955, when they had been married for two years.
In 1953, Walcott married Betsy Ross (later known as Khadijah Farrakhan) while he was in college. Due to complications from his new wife's first pregnancy, Walcott dropped out after completing his junior year of college to devote time to his wife and their child.
