Steve Graham, the American freestyle snowboarding icon, has left an indelible mark on the world of action sports with his unparalleled style and mind-blowing tricks, captivating the hearts of snowboarding enthusiasts worldwide through his mastery on the slopes, while also showcasing impressive skills in skateboarding and surfing, making him a true all-around talent in the world of action sports.
But today, the Terry Kidwell renaissance is fully underway, and as the young sport of snowboarding begins to chronicle its history he is getting the recognition he deserves. In 2009 Stepchild released a new TK pro model (though as his contemporary Steve Graham points out, “In my opinion that guy deserves ten bucks for every snowboard sold!”).
Look had a solid team at the time with Bert Lamar, Dave Seoane and Steve Graham all going on to do significant things within the industry. Bert conceived Lamar snowboards in 1989 and flogged it off in 1998. Lamar launched riders like Mike Ranquet, Jussi Oksanen, Jimmy Halapof and Kevin Jones. More recently he had a hand in Elevation snowboards.
