"The Score" is a 2001 heist thriller directed by Frank Oz. The film is a bit of an oddity in Oz's filmography, who is for all purposes a discernable director with lots of talent.
6/10. Hit and miss, but some nice acting and late-blooming suspense. secondtake 1 October 2013. The Score (2001) Wow, the last half hour is gripping, exciting stuff. The pace quickens, a bunch of conflicts put you on the edge of your seat, and you actually start caring who comes out ahead in the end.

The Score. "The film seems to be building to a confrontation between the actors but instead you get the credits. And given the fine cast, this lack of a Third Act is a major mistake." The Score undoubtedly has one of the most intriguing casts recently seen, putting old hands Brando and De Niro alongside Edward Norton and Angela Basset.
