Dec 18, 2013 · High Beams Inop. I have a 2011 Cruze with 38,000 miles (of course) and the high beams are inoperative. I checked the LH and RH fuses with no defects noted. The last time I got them to work was when selecting high from low. They flashed and then stayed out. Now, the low beams will go out when high is selected but the highs remain off.

The screw is used to keep the rotor from falling off at the assembly plant as the car bounces and jounces down the assembly line. Once your five lug nuts are installed and tightened, that screw is completely irrelevant.

Aug 2, 2012 · The exact same thing has happened to me twice with our 2011 cruze ltz auto. The first time was not long after purchasing it new at very low mileage. It just happened again at 23,000mi. Both times sitting in traffic, very hot with ac running took foot off break and car stalled. Started right back up.

(The Malibu has a 5.1" longer wheelbase and is 10.1" longer, for reference - it also is about the same weight as the 1st gen Cruze). It has a 0.6" longer wheelbase (106.3 vs 105.7), is 2.7" longer (183.7 vs 181.0 - the hatch is 5.7" shorter, for what it's worth), but it is 0.7 ...
