Sep 10, 2016 · 1 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem. Failure Date: 06/04/2020. Had a whining noise coming from the engine compartment. After about 1 or 2 miles the check engine light came on and the whining got real loud and the transmission wouldn't shift into the next gear. I let off of the accelerator and it never down shifted or upshifted. It just coasted.
