For the benefit of Harry Potter fans, the biggest differences between this book and Harry Potter are: (A) Level of Suspense and (B) Negativity. (A) Level of Suspense In contrast to the Harry Potter books, which I found to be extremely suspenseful, "Casual Vacancy" is very slow paced.
