I pretty much use GOEX FFFg (real black powder) in all of my guns - inlines and sidelocks in .45, .50, .54 and .58 calibers. The same applies if you're talking about substitutes like Triple Seven. For sidelocks, most guys prefer FFF for easier ignition.
