Oct 28, 2016 · Appearing on the 1975 album “Wish You Were Here”, the nine-part Pink Floyd composition “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” was a tribute to Barrett, written by David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Rick Wright The lyrics refer to “a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky”, an apparent reference to the effects of Barrett’s drug use.
