An American actor whose career began with the title role on the ABC-TV series The Legend of Jesse James, Jones briefly reached brief cult status during the 1960s until turning his back on the industry following roles in Wild in the Streets (1968) and Ryan’s Daughter (1970).
Jones died on January 31, 2014 from gallbladder cancer, aged 74. William Frank Jones, better known as Christopher Jones, was an American movie and television actor.
