Jun 28, 2021 · PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Trail Blazers have named Chauncey Billups as the team’s head coach, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey. Billups becomes the 15th head coach to lead the Trail Blazers. “Chauncey is a proven leader with an elite basketball IQ that has won everywhere he has been,” said Olshey.
