Martyrs is one of my favorite horror films. I understand the plot of the movie and think it pushes the boundaries when it comes to horror. As someone who is not scared or impressed with monsters, ghosts, zombies etc, I can really appreciate films that rely on graphic violence, sexual violence and horrifying real world scenarios to scare viewers.
