Aug 23, 2005 · Happy Gilmore offers perhaps more quotable one liners than any other film and came at just the right time in history to make it something that anyone of a certain age can quote effortlessly. It's not a "good" film, but it is great and is among the best of the SNL derived skit films turned into an absurd movie experience.
