May 5, 2018 · Lost River is an example of how an artist is not allowed to stray from his perceived box. The bad reviews are incredibly unjustified. Lost River does have strong similarities with the films of David Lynch but is visually far more striking than anything that Lynch has produced to date. Gosling displays a remarkable talent as a film maker.
