Kelvin Mercer, better known by his stage name Posdnuos, is the lead member of the De La Soul trio, also known as Plug #1. Kelvin was a childhood friend of David Jude Jolicoeur (Trugoy the Dove). The two met Vincent Mason (Mase) while attending Amityville High School. The three formed the De La Soul group in 1987 and released their debut album 3 Feet High and Rising the year after.
