Performing with "Celtic Thunder" has allowed Ryan to showcase both his acting and singing abilities to audiences all across North America, Australia and beyond. His ability to transform onstage and make the songs he performs completely his own, have garnered him a large and loyal following.
Jan 6, 2023 · Ryan Kelly has come a long way from singing in his local chapel in the Moy, Co Tyrone. The 44-year-old is part of the hugely successful group Celtic Thunder, which has gained significant success in North America with a series of stage shows, television specials, and albums since 2007.
He is a lifelong supporter of the Boston Celtics. He mentions the opportunity to stand alongside his Celtic Thunder cast mates in TD Garden in Boston and sing the US National Anthem at the opening of a Celtics game as one of the highlights of his Celtic Thunder journey so far.
