The NFL doesn’t want those 100k+ seat stadiums. Teams are generally expected to play in 60-80k seat stadiums. The money is in the TV deals anyway. Some teams do struggle to sell out games. Let a team go 4-13 or 3-14 for a few seasons and some small market teams like Buffalo or Jacksonville could see a 100k seat stadium not fill up.
