John L is the only reason to watch. stsorrell 19 March 2023. In a word, this show sucks, and that's a shame...The original Night Court was hilarious. John Laroquette is the only actor with any real comedic timing and delivery. He even makes his lines that are at times terribly written bring a chuckle.
