I have had corporate dental insurance for over 10 years now, Unum is by far the worst. They either dont pay, or make your life as difficult as possible until they pay. I assume "Every little penny counts" is the name of their client attrition policy.
I went on short term disability and I called because the math wasn’t adding up on my benefits. On 40 hours a week I would gross $840 so at 60% that should be $504 per week paid benefit. The rep told me since they pay for every day they then take the $504 and divide that by 7 days. Ummmm wrong!
