A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. The awards have been held in Nashville, Tennessee every year except 2011 and 2012 when they were held in Atlanta, Georgia.
As a young boy, his father taught him to sing harmony by telling him, “Find your part and pitch and stick with it.” Our 2019 Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, Ruben Bean, found his part and stuck with it for over sixty years. He started and will finish this year with one group, the award-winning McKameys of Clinton, Tennessee.

This is a museum that houses artifacts of many, and is the site of the professional preservation of the artists, songwriters, and industry workers.
