The Walmart Museum is as much a part of Walmart’s history as the exhibits and artifacts that it houses. First opened in 1990, the museum was known as the Walmart Visitor Center. But as times changed and the term "Visitor Center" came to refer more to regional, state, and local tourism offices, it became apparent that a name change was needed.
Jul 20, 2015 · Tips for Visiting the Walmart Museum. The Walmart Museum is located at 105 North Main Street, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712. They’re open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 12-9 pm. Admission is completely free. Street parking is available for free.
The Walmart Museum, including Walton’s 5&10 and The Spark Café, are closed while they undergo an extensive renovation. During the renovation, to ensure there is as little disruption as possible, we are excited to welcome visitors to our temporary home at The Walmart Museum Heritage Lab. Visit the lab at 240 S. Main St, Bentonville, AR and find us on the 1st floor.

A family-friendly experience in 3 parts, The Walmart Museum features a world-class exhibit gallery, Walton’s 5&10, and The Spark Café. Currently the Museum is under renovations until sometime in 2024. In the meantime you can visit their mini museum inside the Ledger Building just a block South of the Square.
