Webster took an early lead with runs in the first, third, and fifth innings, eventually sealing the win with runs in the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings.

Feb 26, 2022 · After going 37-8 last season, recent preseason polls ranks Webster’s baseball team as first in the conference and 14th nationally. With these rankings, the team hopes to make it back to the Division III World Series and possibly win a national championship.
The Webster University baseball program played its first season in 1987 and plays its home games at GCS Credit Union Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois. In 33 seasons, the baseball team has won 16 SLIAC Regular Season Titles, 12 SLIAC Tournament Championships, and has been to the NCAA Division III Baseball College World Series four times.
