May 1, 2009 · Beyond the ugly character models, the animation just isn't that great, you won't care for any of the characters after watching the film, the voice acting is passable at best, and the story just doesn't resonate. Even at a compact 90 minutes, "Battle for Terra" is only worth watching during "Bad Movie Night."

Sep 22, 2009 · The Battle for Terra was an independently produced 3D animation film that was in theaters in May. It played in some festivals like Tribeca and won Best Animated Feature at Ottowa Animation Festival, which is THE animation festival (Oscar nom Persepolis won the year prior).
