Mar 5, 2020 · Overall, Contraband is a sonic disaster but the songs are its redeeming quality. I look forward to the day when the album is reissued and remastered with kid gloves for I believe it deserves to be revisited and hopefully that will occur sooner, rather than later. Despite the media callling Velvet Revolver a “mash-up of GnR and STP”, the album manages to defy that label.
