Founded in 1911, Maret School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school located in Washington, D.C. The school serves students in grades kindergarten through 12 and comprises of lower, middle and upper schools. Its academic curriculum includes physical education, social studies, science, English and mathematics.
Exhibits. All students in grades K-9 are required to take visual and performing arts instruction. By tenth grade, students choose from a wide array of electives and extracurricular activities that hone and cultivate their natural artistic talents. The band program has definitely been the most important thing to me at Maret.
