Born in Tyrol, Tobias Moretti began his musical studies at the High School for Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna. Having completed his training as an actor at the Otto Falckenberg High School in Munich, he left his first engagement at the Hanover State Theater and returned to Munich to join Frank Baumbauer at the Residenz Theater there.
