Dec 12, 2000 · Still, overall, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN is surprisingly entertaining love story, action movie without a gun shot fired! So much happens, including my favorite (kind of sappy scene, yes) scene with Mayo helping "Ohhh, Seeegar" (Lisa Eilbacher, looking stunningly NOT all that attractive) over the training wall.
