Noel Paul Stookey (born December 30, 1937) is an American singer-songwriter who was famous for being a member of the 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary; however, he has been known by his first name, Noel, throughout his life.
Noel has been altering both the musical and ethical landscape of this country and the world for decades—both as the “Paul” of the legendary Peter, Paul and Mary and as an independent musician who passionately believes in bringing the spiritual into the practice of daily life.
Noel Paul Stookey has recorded over 50 albums, both as part of the legendary trio and as a soloist. Prior to the release of AT HOME, and his acclaimed ONE & MANY (and digital mini releases) in 2012, he had released three CDs in 2007 alone: FACETS OF THE JEWEL, “Promise of Love”, and “Song for Megumi”.
