Thats not taking anything from LTK, its still a good albeit different Bond. LTK had the better villain though. In the book "James Bond Unmasked" Timothy himself said he preferred The Living Daylights over Licence to Kill as it felt more like a classic cold war Bond film. TLD is just Bond in its most classic form.
