I did a little bit of college for programming. Didn't do well, ended up abandoning classes a lot. Felt like I was wasting money because I didn't have the motivation for school. My mom got me a job at a grade school for IT. Worked there for 2 years and did well for myself. Applied at a less shitty Catholic school and worked another 2 years.

The education system falls short when we attempt to take a vague definition and impress a closed system upon it. Like most people, I grew up in a broken education system.
