May 3, 2024 · The Fall Guy indeed. Its unfortunate to see reasonable acting talent, fall victim to this genuinely unfunny, inarticulate mess of a film. A film that meanders pointlessly from place to place, with no real purpose. The only true upside is a sprinkling of decent musical tracks by hit groups like ACDC and KISS, that work in almost any context.

May 3, 2024 · “The Fall Guy” certainly has its strengths: a playful energy, a few fun meta moments, some good early laughs, and pretty cool action. Ryan Gosling does his thing while Emily Blunt is delightful as usual. But the movie’s charms can only carry it so far and its routine starts to wear a little thin well before the two-hour mark.
