Jun 30, 2023 · Overall this was an entertaining fantasy read that starts a new story arc in the Wings of Fire series. We meet many new interesting dragons and learn a lot more about the NightWings’ powers and history. I would definitely recommend to fans of the Wings of Fire series and to middle grade fantasy fans.
I'm 34 years old now as of this review and older if you come across my review at a later date, so you'd think I'd be way outside of the target demographic. But no, the humanistic and exciting storytelling in Wings of Fire draws people of all ages in, and if you love dragons oh boy that will add even more bonus points to an already fantastic series.
