Because Mark Twain Middle School and Mark Twain Magnet School serve such a large percentage of gifted students on our campus, there is a rich offering of honors level classes in all academic areas. The content of honors/SAS classes is based on the State Standards, but is differentiated for our gifted students.
Mark Twain Intermediate School for the Gifted and Talented sets itself apart from others because of its dual mission. Students are immersed in an environment of academic rigor blended with a full visual art and performing arts experience, all in an extremely supportive environment. Twain is organized into clusters, or mini-schools, student are grouped with a team of teachers assigned to each.
