Despite two mixes from legends Todd Terry and Frankie Knuckles, bookending the album, both fall a bit flat. It's been said that Keep The Fire Burnin' was Dan's response to Loleatta Holloway's famous vocal hook from his hit Relight My Fire being stolen and used by Black Box for their infamous hit record earlier that year.
