Actress. 8 September 1931 to 24 June 2011. A character actress of great skill and subtlety, Tyzack won a BAFTA for her performance as Queen Anne in The First Churchills (1969). She also starred in The Forsyte Saga (1967), I, Claudius (1976) and films including 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), A Clockwork Orange (1971) and Mrs Dalloway (1997).
