Biography. Wong Jing was born in Hong Kong, in 1955, to parents from Zhejiang province, and his father Wong Tin-lam was a famous director. During high school, Wong developed a love for stage performing and any activities involved with stage production and then attended Hong Kong’s Chinese University. Upon graduation he joined TVB.
Wong also formed his own production company, Wong Jing's Workshop Ltd., and later became a partner in the successful BoB (Best of the Best) company, along with director/screenwriters Andrew Lau and Manfred Wong. As he would most likely admit, most of Wong's work is highly derivative of other films.
