The Wisconsin Conservatory is among the nation’s oldest community-based arts schools. Founded by William Boeppler, Hugo Kaun, and Dr. Louis Frank in 1899, the institution provides music education to community members, both amateur and professional.
Built as a family mansion in 1903 and serving as a music school since 1932, this architecturally significant building is listed on the National Historic Register. Recently restored, it boasts twelve uniquely crafted fireplaces, ornate salons, and a magnificently appointed recital hall.
