The balance between the gruesome plot and the fluffy atmosphere of the film is not quite right here. The romance between Alexandra and the cop is the only element that was good in the film. Overall, "ExTerminators" is an unsuccessful attempt to bridge dark comedy with romantic comedy, that turns out to be rather bland and uninteresting.
