  5. Dec 11, 2018 · Several movies have been made about this famous battle, including the epic one with John Wayne, but The Last Command is by far the best. Yes, it's old, but it holds up extremely well and provides as accurate a portrayal of the Battle of the Alamo as it's possible for a movie to do. Highly recommended.
