3 days ago · Tried the Chowder House at its new location in the Merriman Valley. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the Cuyahoga Falls location. Five in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal. Three of us had the special for the day, flonder and it was excellent. My spouse had the scallops on a bed of risotto and my sister had the crabmeat stuffed scampies.

Sep 9, 2020 · The Chowder House — which specializes in seafood — will celebrate its last day at 2028 Chestnut Boulevard, just off State Road, on Sept. 27, with its annual clambake. The restaurant, which Prpich founded in 2009 at the Cuyahoga Falls site, will open Oct. 1 at 1244 Weathervane Lane, in the Liberty Commons complex off Merriman Road in the Valley.
