Jun 17, 2020 · I was living in Springfield, Illinois, and The Raleigh Ringers performed on the stage at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in 2004. I had seen their DVD performances before, but seeing them live was just awe-inspiring!!! The technical precision and musicality made me want to be a better ringer, and, well, eventually become part of their group.
Dec 13, 2015 · In short, these Ringers are really something. That they are based right here, in Raleigh, constitutes yet another feather in the Triangle’s artistic cap. Happy anniversary! And thanks – to the current crop of 18 players, and to the nearly 100 artists who, over the years, have served as Ringers.
The group’s patrons, The Friends of The Raleigh Ringers, have been instrumental in helping the group purchase equipment and two 15-passenger vans. Capital campaigns helped The Raleigh Ringers purchase a 20-foot box truck to haul equipment, stage sets and instruments, and purchase the group’s building for rehearsal, storage, and classes.
