Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 started as a (literal) out-of-this-world experience; players who participated in the live event controlled a giant mech built on the moon. The theme for the season was Vibin', and significant changes were made to the map to emphasize it, including neon-colored overgrowth and gigantic mushrooms.
The Storm is a large ring which surrounds the map at the beginning of every game. As the game progresses, The Storm will form, and then begin to move, before pausing again and repeating the cycle. Eventually, The Storm closes in on the island completely.
