  7. Mar 22, 2022 · Unlike other upbeat musicals BLUE SKIES has a melancholy atmosphere. But so does the title song. I love to hear Bing sing and watch Astaire dance, but the character motivation and forced resolution of the thin plot made me wince. That said, I will watch it again for a couple of finer moments.
