Lawrence Gordon Productions is an American film and television production company. It was founded by Lawrence Gordon. Lawrence Gordon Productions produced the 1987 film Predator and the 1990 film Predator 2. Other notable films produced by Lawrence Gordon Productions include 48 Hrs. (1982), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Hellboy (2004) and Watchmen (2009).
Gordon worked on multiple films in the 1970s and 1980s with fellow producer Joel Silver, most notably Streets of Fire and 48 Hrs. Gordon was President of 20th Century Fox from 1984 to 1986. He was planning to reactive Lawrence Gordon Productions on the Fox lot in order to receive a two-year independent production deal with the studio.
Producing career. He was once the president of Lawrence Gordon Productions, and at one time, Largo Entertainment. In 1994, he was promoted to president at the studio. [2] He won the Online Film Critics Society Award for Best Picture for his work on United 93. He was also nominated for a BAFTA for the same film.
