  2. Jan 1, 1989 · I have quickly become a fan of Tobias Wolff, since I heard "Awaiting Orders" read on NPR. I recently read "Old School" and then "This Boy's Life", both were great and well written. My only wish was that I read them in the opposite order. Even though "This Boy's Life" was Non-Fiction and "Old School" was fiction, they seemed to be one story.
