He pretty much said he’s done with Korn without saying he’s done with Korn. Sad day. Fieldy’s bass will forever define the first 6 albums. They have phased his bass out over the years tho - to mixed results - so I think they will be fine with their current sound going forward. The replacement is an interesting question though…

Jul 10, 2023 · Although Fieldy has been a near-constant presence in Korn, he did remove himself from the lineup once before in August 2012 when he and his wife, Dena, were expecting a child. Mudvayne’s Ryan Martinie filled in for him on that occasion and may well be a potential touring candidate moving forward should Fieldy need more time away from the band.
