1 day ago · It happened today when they visited, so this came to mind. At least half the people who use the bathroom while at our house leave the toilet seat up. I understand that whether someone puts the lid down or leaves it up is a matter of preference, but we have a toddler and cats. At best, then finding the toilet lid up would mean a mess.
