This is something that bugs me whenever I see it but to name a specific example, in My Hero Academia there's the serial killer Himiko Toga. Some people misunderstand her character and try to claim that she was always a monster, or at least was born a damaged child, as you obviously can't just go around killing people in a civilized society.
