Your events don't update because you're using a static event source - that array was copied to fullCalendar when it was initialised. Updates to it have no effect on the calendar because fullCalendar is using a different, older copy of the array.
And fullCalendar has no way to refetch anything because you didn't give it a source to fetch from. If you want re-fetching to work then you need to provide a dynamic event source. There are two techniques you can use to do that, both described in detail in the documentation:
- Events as a JSON feed - where you simply specify a URL which will return JSON event data directly. fullCalendar will call this URL whenever the date changes - or whenever you call refetchEvents - and pass the current start and end dates of the calendar as query parameters, so the server can return a list of events correctly filtered by date.
- Events as a function - where you provide a callback function which fullCalendar will call whenever the date changes - or whenever you call refetchEvents - and passes the current start and end date as parameters to the function. The function can then do whatever you want in order to fetch events - e.g. make a custom AJAX call, or call another function or whatever. When the events are ready you pass them back to fullCalendar using the "successCallback" function supplied as a parameter to the main callback. There's an example in the documentation.

Like most of my problems, this issue was caused by my own mistake. The list of resource IDs in the JSON was malformed (a string, not an array).
Bad, fails:
"resourceIds": "['16121','14174','14175','14842','14843','14844']",
Better, works:
"resourceIds": ['16121','14174','14175','14842','14843','14844'],

Try the following.
With the new build v2.1.0-beta2 Launch 17 days ago Arshaw did the following
RESOLVED ISSUES:
Max events with "more..." link (304) Don't fire eventMouseover/eventMouseout while dragging/resizing (1297) NEW OPTIONS:
eventLimit event LimitClick eventLimitText dayPopoverFormat
Source
So, you can do the following:
$('#calendar').fullCalendar({ lang: 'en', eventLimit: true, // If you set a number it will hide the itens eventLimitText: "Something" // Default is `more` (or "more" in the lang you pick in the option)});-
tooked from: Fullcalendar, required files for limit number events per day with view more/ more button?

In v5.0.0-beta.2 the eventLimit option did not seem to work but the dayMaxEvents option did.

Example:
var calendar = new Calendar(calendarEl, { dayMaxEvents: 3 // Can also be set as a boolean});-

If it's the month view, the configuration should be something like this:
eventLimit: true, views: { month: { eventLimit: 3 } }-
Also if there are several events, adding a scroll bar could be helpful:
.fc-more-popover { overflow-y: scroll; max-height: 20%; max-width: 14%;}-

The request below will update the rows you want by adding -1 days on each date:
UPDATE tbl_table SET dates = Dateadd(day, -1, dates) WHERE id IN ( 29695, 29700, 29701, 29702, 29703, 29704, 29705, 29706, 29707, 29708, 29709, 29710, 29711, 29712, 29713, 29714, 29715 )
DATEADD function takes 3 parameters:
- the interval ( day, month, year ..)
- the increment (the value to add or remove if negative)
- an expression (wich is a datetime type)

http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-all-in-one-event-calendar-order-event-by-start-date?replies=3#post-2443756
I'm searching for something similar. I found the above post which should help!
"Events are posts but event start/end date != post date. When you make a query, you have to do an event query, not post query. In other words, you have to use plugin's API to retrieve events ordered by start or end dates. The function of interest is get_events_between(). It is located in Ai1ec_Calendar_Helper class. The class is located in: app/helper/class-ai1ec-calendar-helper.php I modified your code a bit. I haven't tested it so there might be typos or other errors but the logic is the same: http://pastebin.com/SNp4TJij"
Update!
So I really got this figured out now...Here is the code I set up to get events between today and a year from today.
- global $ai1ec_calendar_helper, $ai1ec_events_helper;- // gets localized time $bits = $ai1ec_events_helper->gmgetdate( $ai1ec_events_helper->gmt_to_local( time() ) ); //sets start time to today $start = gmmktime(0,0,0,$bits['mon'],$bits['mday'],$bits['year']); //sets end time to a year from today i.e. $bits['year']+1 $end = gmmktime(0,0,0,$bits['mon'],$bits['mday'],$bits['year']+1); //Look in class-ai1ec-calendar-helper.php for details $get_events = $ai1ec_calendar_helper->get_events_between($start,$end); //loop through results to get post_ids foreach($get_events as $event ): $post_ids[] = $event->post_id; endforeach; // The New Events Query $args = array( 'posts_per_page' => 4, 'paged' => get_query_var('paged'), 'post_type'=> 'ai1ec_event', 'post__in' => $post_ids ); $events_added = new WP_Query( $args ); // The Loop while ( $events_added->have_posts() ) : $events_added->the_post(); $event = Ai1ec_Events_Helper::get_event($post->ID); //Your code here endwhile; wp_reset_postdata();
You can also use the function get_events_relative_to() with args for the start time, a limit for the number of results, page offset(which is used in their views for ai1ec not the same as wp pagination), and filters...it returns a multidimensional array of event objects. I had to create $events = $get_events['events'] and use $events in my foreach to properly retrieve the post_ids. I looked through the ai1ec-themes to find examples of how to display event data. echo apply_filters( 'the_content', $event->post->post_content ); Returns HTML formated event info like what is shown in a single event page.
